The contracting of any service offered by the travel agency Cusco Cultural Experience (hereinafter THE AGENCY) implies the full acceptance of these General Conditions. Both THE CLIENT and THE AGENCY expressly submit to these clauses.

RATES: Prices are expressed in U.S. dollars and/or soles at the exchange rate in effect on the date of publication. The conversion to national currency is determined by the exchange rate set by THE AGENCY valid at the date of each payment. It is understood that any variation in the prices of services, taxes, fees, and/or exchange rates may result in a revision of the final price; THE AGENCY requires the submission of a guarantee of 40% of the total cost of the contracted services, which may be made through authorized payment systems. THE CLIENT must pay the outstanding balance upon arrival in Peru, which may be done in cash or by credit card (if payment is made by credit card, an 8% surcharge will be applied to the amount to be paid). The costs of sending the guarantee must be fully assumed by THE CLIENT.

SERVICES INCLUDED: Prices include only the services according to the confirmation of your services.

SERVICES NOT INCLUDED: Any other service not expressly stated:

  1. Excess baggage on air transport, visas, airport taxes, service charges, tips, vaccination certificates, extras, beverages, special dietary regimens, optional hotel services, laundry, VAT, and other current and/or future taxes;

  2. Stays, meals, and/or additional expenses or damages caused by cancellations, delays in departures or arrivals of means of transportation, or by unforeseen reasons beyond the company’s control;

  3. Meals en route, except those expressly included.

DOCUMENTATION: For international travel, it is necessary to comply with the legislation in force in each case. It is the sole responsibility of THE CLIENT to have the personal and family documentation required by the corresponding immigration authority. It is also mandatory that the client carry their documents throughout the trip, as well as the Andean Migration Card (TAM) granted upon entry into our country, since this document exempts all visitors from internal taxes.

BAGGAGE: Baggage is the sole responsibility of THE CLIENT. THE AGENCY is not obliged to be held liable for losses, damages, or deterioration that it may suffer for any reason during the trip.

HOTELS: The quality and content of the services provided by the hotel are determined by the official tourist category assigned. In the event that THE AGENCY is forced to change the confirmed hotel due to special events and/or situations beyond its control, its responsibility shall be limited to offering a hotel of equal or higher category. Accommodation, meals, transportation, and other expenses arising from delays in departures and returns of transportation (or lack of flight connections) due to weather, technical issues, strikes, or other force majeure causes will be borne by THE CLIENT. Contracted rooms are standard type, unless otherwise specified in writing.

REFUNDS: At the time of booking confirmation, forty (40%) percent of the total amount of the SERVICE must be deposited. In this case, no reservation shall be considered firmly committed until such deposit is made and the requested services are fully confirmed. Until the confirmation of the SERVICE, it may be subject to modifications in any of its conditions. Packages and tours must be reserved with the payment of forty (40%) percent of their total value. If any condition is modified at the time of final confirmation, THE CLIENT may choose to cancel the operation, having the right to a refund of any amount paid as a reservation.

CANCELLATIONS BY THE CLIENT AND/OR TRIP CANCELLATION: At any time THE CLIENT may cancel the requested or contracted services, being entitled to a refund of the amount paid. Cancellations or changes made by THE CLIENT must be submitted in writing by the client as soon as possible, subject to compensating THE AGENCY for the following concepts:

  1. Management fees (incurred by the selling agency).

  2. Cancellation fees, if any (incurred by tourism providers).

  3. Compensation consisting of a percentage of the total amount, depending on the type of service contracted and the provider’s cancellation policy. In the event of no-show at the time of departure without prior documented cancellation, or late arrival, it will result in the total loss of the amount and the SERVICE. Some contracted services are subject to special economic cancellation conditions where one hundred (100%) percent of the tickets already issued must be paid regardless of the advance notice of the cancellation (air tickets, accommodations, pre-purchased quotas for the Inca Trail, entrance tickets to Machu Picchu – Huayna Picchu, etc.). In these cases, cancellation fees will be established according to the specific conditions of each provider. In the case of withdrawal from credit operations, amounts paid for reports, administrative expenses, stamps, and interest will not be refunded..
